Petrobras Recognizes CHC Helicopter as Best Supplier for Air Logistics and Awards New Brazil Offshore Contract

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – CHC do Brasil has been named Petrobras' Best Supplier for Air Logistics in the state-owned energy company's 2026 Best Supplier Awards, recognizing its performance in supporting one of the world's largest offshore energy operators.

Petrobras' Best Supplier Awards recognize companies that deliver outstanding performance in the provision of goods and services across its operations. Suppliers are assessed against a range of criteria including operational performance, quality, HSE performance, ESG performance, management and value generation.

For CHC, this acknowledgment reflects the consistent delivery of helicopter services that help transport more than 25,000 Petrobras workers offshore safely and reliable every month to some of Brazil's most important energy projects.

Búzios Field Crew Change Contract Award

As a further sign of Petrobras' confidence in CHC's services, the company has also awarded CHC a new five-year crew change contract to support the Búzios field.

CHC will transport offshore personnel using an existing S-92 aircraft from its base at Maricá Airport. The contract is scheduled to commence in June 2027.

Búzios is a major contributor to Brazil's energy production and among the country's largest offshore oil developments. Located approximately 180km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro in the Santos Basin pre-salt region, it has achieved successive production records and contains some of the most productive wells in Brazil.

The field is one of a number of deepwater production sites supported by CHC globally. As a global operator, CHC is able to draw on experience from offshore energy basins around the world, applying proven operational practices and learnings from other markets to continuously enhance safety, reliability and service performance in Brazil.
